Meadowside Forge
This is Meadowside Forge, down a quiet lane near Ashwater. It's a detached barn. It used to be a working forge, so you get the original stone walls and beams. It's all on one level, which is handy.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The living area is open plan with a wood burner. The patio out the back is enclosed, which is good if you've brought the dog.
You're in the countryside here. The nearest pub is about two miles away, in Ashwater. It's decent. The shop is a drive, about eight miles to Holsworthy.
For a day out, you can get to Bude or Widemouth Bay in roughly half an hour. Good for surfing. Roadford Lake is close if you want to hire a kayak or try sailing.
Inland, Dartmoor is about a 30 minute drive for walking. The Eden Project is also within that range.
It's got the usual stuff: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
