Frankaborough Lodge is on our farmland on Thorne Moor. It's a big, detached timber lodge. You can see fields from there. It's quiet.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. One is a double, one a king-size, and one has twin beds. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower. The rating is 5 Star, which means it's well equipped and finished to a good standard. You can bring one dog.
The main living space is all one room. Kitchen, dining area, and sitting area. There's a wood burning stove. The kitchen has an island, two ovens, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. The WiFi works fine. There are TVs.
Outside, there's a deck with furniture and a private hot tub under a wooden canopy. You have your own parking.
The local pub is about a ten minute walk. Tavistock is roughly a fifteen minute drive. It's a proper market town with shops and places to eat.
You're in a good spot here for getting out. Dartmoor is about twenty minutes to the south east. Bodmin Moor is about half an hour west into Cornwall. The north coast of Cornwall, places like Boscastle or Tintagel, is about forty minutes by car. Plymouth is around half an hour south.
