Cider House
Cider House is on a farm just outside Launceston. It's part of a stable yard conversion, so it's part of a small group of cottages around a courtyard. You get your own patio area.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean. The living area is open plan with a woodburner. The stairs are standard cottage stairs, so a bit steeper than in a modern house.
The property is on a riding school, so you can book lessons if you want. There's also a shared outdoor heated pool and a fishing lake on the farm. You'll see horses and hear birds.
Launceston town is about two miles away. It's got shops, a castle, and an indoor leisure centre. There's a pub within walking distance, about a mile and a half.
For days out, you're right on the Devon and Cornwall border. Dartmoor is about a 25-minute drive east. Going west, Tintagel and the north coast are within half an hour. The south coast, like Looe or Polperro, is about 45 minutes.
In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. A travel cot and highchair are available if you need them. No pets allowed.
