Fennel
Fennel is a cottage on Sherrill Farm, near Dunterton. It's one of thirteen cottages converted from barns around a courtyard. The farm's about 300 years old, set in 16 acres.
It sleeps seven. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, one for each bedroom. The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable and clean. Pets are welcome, up to two.
The main thing here is the shared leisure facilities. There's a large indoor heated swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a gym, a bowling alley, and a games room. They're open until 9pm. Outside there's a sun terrace, a kids' play area, an all-weather tennis court, and a few ponds. One pond is for wildlife, the others are stocked for fishing.
The location is on the Devon and Cornwall border. It's quiet and rural. You're about six miles from Tavistock. The Dartmoor National Park is very close for walking. The Tamar Valley is a short drive away, with villages like Morwellham.
For days out, the north and south coasts of Devon and Cornwall are both within reach by car, about a half hour drive or so. There are plenty of National Trust properties nearby, like Cotehele and Buckland Abbey.
Included facilities: bedding, cot, highchair, washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi, and parking on site. There's a pub about a mile away, and a shop about four and a half miles.
