This is Tarragon cottage. It's one of thirteen cottages here at Sherrill Farm in Dunterton. You're basically right on the border between Devon and Cornwall.
The cottage sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is our best. You can bring one dog.
The place is converted from old farm buildings, so the rooms are the shape they are. It's not a modern box. The kitchen has what you need.
The main thing here is the shared leisure stuff. There's a big indoor heated swimming pool, a games room, a small bowling alley, and a gym. They're open until 9pm. There's also a tennis court outside. The kids' play area is over by the ponds.
Speaking of ponds, there are three in the grounds. Two are for fishing, one's for wildlife. It's very quiet. You might see badgers at dusk.
The closest pub is about a mile away. The nearest shop is in Milton Abbot, about four and a half miles.
You're in a good spot for getting out. Dartmoor National Park is about a ten minute drive. The Tamar Valley is just to the south. The north and south coasts of Devon and Cornwall are both within about an hour's drive.
For local history, Cotehele and Buckland Abbey are good National Trust places. Tavistock, the nearest proper town, is six miles away.
Inside, you've got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding is included, and we can provide a cot and highchair. There's parking right outside.
