Great Meadow
Great Meadow is at Sherrill Farm, near Dunterton. It's a barn conversion.
The place sleeps five in two bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
You share some things with the other cottages here. There's an indoor heated pool, a games room, and a gym you can all use. It's open until 9pm. There's also a tennis court and a few fishing ponds on the land.
The cottage itself is detached. It's open plan downstairs with a woodburning stove. There's parking right outside. We allow up to two dogs.
It's quiet here, but you're not far from things. The local pub is about a mile away. For a proper shop, you need to drive about four and a half miles.
You're right on the edge of Dartmoor, so the walking is excellent straight from the door. Dartmoor National Park is minutes away. Tavistock is about six miles, it's a nice market town. Launceston is over in Cornwall, maybe twenty minutes.
Both coasts are within reach for a day trip. The north Devon and north Cornwall coasts are roughly forty minutes.
