Great Meadow is a cottage on Sherrill Farm in Dunterton. It's one of thirteen cottages converted from old barns around a central courtyard. The place sits in sixteen acres of farmland.
The cottage sleeps five. There are two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating. It's detached, so it's quiet for you.
A big thing here is the on-site leisure facilities. There's a large indoor heated swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a gym, a games room, and a bowling alley. They're open until 9pm. Outside, there's an all-weather tennis court, a children's play area, and three ponds. Two are stocked for fishing if you fancy it.
You're right on the Devon and Cornwall border. Dartmoor is very close for walks. The Dartmoor National Park website has good route ideas. The Tamar Valley is a short drive away, with places like Morwellham Quay.
Tavistock is about six miles east. It's a proper market town with shops and a pannier market. For National Trust places, Cotehele and Buckland Abbey are within half an hour. Both coasts, north and south, are in reach for a day at the beach.
In the cottage, it's open plan. There's a woodburning stove, TV, WiFi, dishwasher, and washing machine. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside.
The nearest pub is about a mile away, and a shop is four and a half miles. For a bigger shop, you'd go to Tavistock or Launceston.
