The Platt is in Rezare, which is a very small, quiet hamlet near Launceston. It's a detached single-storey lodge at the end of a long driveway, so you won't get any passing traffic.
It's for two people, one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is mostly open plan and it's quite light and spacious. Big French windows open directly from the main room and from the bedroom onto a large decked balcony. The view from there looks out over fields and river valleys. It's very peaceful.
The kitchen has a large Range cooker and a dishwasher. There's a wood burner in the living area. Floors are wood or tile, except the bedroom which is carpeted. Everything you'd expect is included: bedding, towels, WiFi, TV, washing machine, and parking.
You can bring up to two dogs. They need to stay off the furniture and you need to clean up after them.
There's a village shop and post office about a mile away in Stoke Climsland. A couple of local pubs serve food, also about a mile.
You're right in the Tamar Valley. Bodmin Moor is about five miles away for walking. Dartmoor is about twelve miles. The north and south coasts are both within a 30 minute drive. So you can reach beaches and coastal towns for a day out without too much trouble.
