The Platt is a detached timber cabin. It's down a long driveway on the edge of Rezare, which is a tiny hamlet. The location is very rural and quiet. You won't hear traffic, just birds and the wind.
It’s a single-storey place, so all on one level. It sleeps two in one bedroom. The bathroom has a shower. It has a 4 Star rating. The main thing is the view from the big corner window and the French doors. You look out over fields and river valleys. It’s a proper outlook.
The French doors from the living area and the bedroom open onto a big wooden deck. You can sit out there with a drink. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The kitchen has a large Range cooker and a dishwasher. Floors are wood or tile, except carpet in the bedroom.
You're about a mile from the village shop and post office in Stoke Climsland. There's a local pub about the same distance. It's roughly halfway between Launceston and Callington.
You're about five miles from the edge of Bodmin Moor and twelve miles from Dartmoor. Both are good for walking. The north and south coasts are each about a 30 minute drive. So you can get to beaches or the moors without too much trouble.
Facilities: there's parking right outside. Wifi, TV, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
