Tucked Away
This place is called Tucked Away, and it really is. It's in Linkinhorne, near Callington. You drive past our house to get to it, but then it's all yours.
It's a converted barn. Sleeps two, one bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's comfortable and well equipped. There's a big hall when you come in, which is handy for muddy boots and coats. The main room is open plan, so the kitchen, living and eating areas are all together. It's a good size for two people.
Outside, there's a patio garden round the back with a BBQ. It's quite sheltered. There's also a covered bit for storing bikes if you bring them.
The location is very quiet. It's a small hamlet in the Lynher Valley, just south of Bodmin Moor. You're about a 40 minute drive from both the north and south coasts. The closest pub is a mile and a half away. A shop is about four miles.
As for things to do, you're well placed for walking on Bodmin Moor. The Tamar Valley is nearby. For a day out, the Eden Project is about a 30 minute drive, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are a bit further.
Included in the price: all bedding and towels, WiFi, TV, washing machine, parking right outside. We can provide a cot and highchair if needed. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
