Talland Bay
This is Talland Bay. It's a bungalow on Rosecraddoc Holiday Village, near Looe. It's detached, so no one's sharing a wall with you. Everything's on one level, which is handy.
It sleeps three. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not palatial. The patio doors go straight out to your own patio. There's a stream that runs past the bottom of the garden.
You're on the owners' site here. It's a quiet, wooded valley. There's a fishing lake you can use if that's your thing. Parking is right outside.
Location wise, you're set back from the coast but it's easy to get to. Talland Bay beach is about a ten minute drive. Looe is maybe five minutes in the car. Polperro is a bit further along the coast.
If you like gardens, you're well placed. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are close. So is the Eden Project, which is about half an hour away. For a historic house, Lanhydrock is a good day out.
The north coast is within range for a day trip. Port Isaac and Padstow are probably forty minutes drive, depending on traffic.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's a pub that does food about five hundred yards up the lane. The nearest proper shop is in Looe.
