Talland Bay
Talland Bay is a bungalow at Rosecraddoc, about three miles outside Liskeard. It's detached, and set in a big, quiet garden with a stream running through it. The whole place is very green and peaceful.
It sleeps three people. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It gets a 4 Star rating, which is good. It's homely and well kept. Being a bungalow, all the rooms are on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about.
The bungalow has a patio and garden furniture. Inside, there's a proper kitchen with a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
It's a rural spot. The nearest pub is about a mile and a half away in St Ive. For a shop, you'd drive into Liskeard, which is a few minutes away. They've got supermarkets and a leisure centre there.
The coast is about a fifteen minute drive. Looe and Polperro are the classic Cornish fishing towns down that way, with harbours and narrow streets. Talland Bay itself is a smaller beach, good for a swim or a coastal walk. There's a network of footpaths right from the property if you want to explore the valley.
If you're planning days out, the National Trust has several houses nearby, like Cotehele and Lanhydrock. The Visit Cornwall site is useful for general planning. For walking on the moors, the Bodmin Moor site has maps and routes.
Further afield, Plymouth and the Tamar Valley are about half an hour's drive. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within an hour.
