The Old Sawmill is in Trevelmond. It's a tiny place, really just a few houses. The cottage itself is detached, and it's where the old village sawmill used to be. It's quiet.
It's a 5 Star place. That means it's finished to a high standard. The beds are very good quality, and the towels are big. There's a wood burner in the living room, and we leave you some logs to start with.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with king size beds. One bedroom is downstairs and has its own shower room. The other is upstairs, and the main bathroom with a double shower is just across the landing. The stairs are regular stairs, not too steep.
We live in the house opposite. We're here if you need anything, but otherwise we'll leave you to it.
The lane to the cottage is narrow. If you have a very long vehicle, like a big motorhome, you might find it tricky to turn in. Normal cars and estate cars are fine.
You're about a mile from a shop and a pub that does food. For the coast, Looe and Polperro are about twenty-five minutes' drive. The nearest proper beach is about the same.
You're well placed for getting around. The A38 is close, so you can head off quite easily. The Eden Project is maybe twenty-five minutes. Bodmin Moor is about fifteen minutes for walks. Carnglaze Caverns are even closer, about ten minutes away.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, an enclosed garden with a patio and a BBQ, parking for one car right outside, and WiFi. The bedding and towels are all included. No pets, sorry.
