The Mill House

The Mill House is one of two places at Lower Trevorder Barns. You can book it on its own or with the other barn for a bigger group. It's up near St Neot and Mount, in the middle of Cornwall. It's quiet here, you're looking out over fields and moorland.

It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's been done up well. They kept the old beams and stone walls from when it was a corn mill. It's warm, they put in ground source heat pumps and solar panels.

There's a good-sized garden with a patio and lawn. You can sit out there. There's a BBQ. Inside, there's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has a dishwasher. There's a washing machine too. We provide bedding and towels.

There's a separate games room with a full-size pool table and table football. The parking is on site and there's an electric vehicle charger.

You can bring one dog. We've got a stairgate and a highchair if you need them.

The nearest shop and pub are about two miles away in St Neot. For a bigger shop, you'd go to Bodmin, which is about a 20-minute drive.

You're well placed to get around. The Eden Project is about 25 minutes by car. Lanhydrock House is about the same. The north coast beaches for surfing, like Watergate Bay, are roughly half an hour away. Padstow and Fowey are both within 30 to 40 minutes drive, depending on traffic.

If you like walking or cycling, Cardinham Woods is close by. They have proper trails there. You can find more walks on the Cornwall Council countryside access pages.

It’s a comfortable place. You can light the fire, use the games room, or just sit outside. That’s about it.
