Trenay Barns Cottage is in Mount, Cornwall. It's a detached barn conversion in our garden. You get your own front garden space. The barn itself is from the 1700s, so you get the high ceilings and beams. There's slate flooring and a large wood burner for colder nights.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms and has one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped. The cottage is detached, so no shared walls.
You're right on the edge of Bodmin Moor. Walks start less than a mile away. It's a quiet spot, next to a stream. You'll see plenty of birds.
Because you're near the A30 and A38, you can get to both the north and south coasts quite easily, each about a 30-minute drive. The closest village with a shop and a pub is St Neot, about a mile and a half away.
For things to do locally, Lanhydrock House and its gardens are about five miles away. Cardinham Woods is four miles for walking or mountain biking. If you want a big day out, the Eden Project is roughly 15 miles. The beach at Looe is about 12 miles; you can get the train from Liskeard if you don't want to drive.
For facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a cot and stairgate if needed, and bedding and towels are included. We can put two electric vehicle chargers on for guests. We have chickens, so free-range eggs are available if you'd like some. We allow up to two pets.
