Lower Trevorder Barn is a converted barn near the village of Mount, in Cornwall. It's about a twenty minute drive from Bodmin.
The barn sleeps eight. That's four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's a 5 Star property, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a good standard. It's one of a pair, but you have your own garden and parking.
It was a corn mill originally. They've kept a lot of the old features, like the beams and stone walls. The stairs are typical for an old building. The place is heated by solar panels and a heat pump, if you're interested in that sort of thing.
Inside, there's an open plan living area with a woodburning stove. There's a games room with a full-size pool table and table football. The main bathroom has a double-ended bath, and we provide robes and some L'Occitane toiletries.
Outside, there's a decked area for eating, a lawn, and a BBQ. You can play croquet on the grass. There's an electric vehicle charger on site.
For local amenities, the nearest shop and pub are in St Neot, about two miles away. For a bigger shop, Bodmin is the closest town.
You're well placed here for getting around Cornwall. The Eden Project is about twenty minutes by car. Padstow, Fowey, and Looe are all roughly half an hour's drive. The north coast surfing beaches, like Watergate Bay, are about thirty to forty minutes away.
If you like walking or cycling, Cardinham Woods is very close. It has waymarked trails. The Bodmin Moor is right on your doorstep for more walking. The National Trust has several properties nearby, like Lanhydrock, which is about fifteen minutes away.
