Lower Trevorder Barn is near Mount. It's a converted barn from the 1790s, so you get the stone walls and beams. It sleeps eight, in four bedrooms with three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's finished to a high standard.
It's on one level inside, which is good. The stairs to the mezzanine bedroom are quite steep though. There's a games room with a proper pool table and table football. The garden is landscaped, with a big deck, a lawn for croquet, and a BBQ area that looks out over the moors.
It's very quiet here. The nearest shops and a pub are in St Neot, about two miles away. For bigger supermarkets, you're about a twenty minute drive to Bodmin.
You're well placed for getting around. The Eden Project is about twenty minutes by car. Padstow and the north coast surfing beaches are roughly half an hour. Fowey and Looe are a similar distance in the other direction. For walking, Cardinham Woods is close by and has good trails, plus a mountain bike route.
In terms of stuff here: all bedding and towels are included. There's a woodburning stove, a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and parking. There's also an electric vehicle charger. It's not suitable for pets.
