Swallows Rest
Swallows Rest is a single-storey lodge in Redpost, Cornwall. It's detached and sits in the grounds of our house, but it's completely private. It's for two people.
The space is open-plan, so it's all one room really, with the kitchen, living area, and bed. The sofas are big and corner-shaped. French doors open onto a small terrace with a table and chairs.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. Everything is on the ground floor, so no steps. Parking is right outside.
You're in the countryside here. The nearest shop and pub are about two miles away in East Taphouse. The coast is a drive. Looe and Fowey are about a 25-minute drive. Polperro is a bit further. Bodmin Moor is to the north, maybe 20 minutes.
If you want to go further, Plymouth is roughly 45 minutes. The north coast, like Newquay or Padstow, is about 40 minutes to an hour depending on traffic.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
