Trekeive Cottage is on Common Moor, near St Cleer. It's attached to our house, but you have your own front door and the garden is yours. The garden is at the back, it's enclosed and looks out over the fields and the dam.
It's a 4 Star cottage, which is about right. It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One has a kingsize bed, the other has twins. There's one shower room upstairs. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they turn and are a bit steep. We've put a stairgate at the top.
It's quiet here. You can walk down to Sibly Back Lake from the garden. People fish there. It's about a twenty minute drive to the beach at Looe. The sea there is proper swimming sea.
You're on the edge of Bodmin Moor. Good walking from the door. Golitha Falls is a nice spot for a woodland walk. The National Trust and Bodmin Moor websites have walking ideas.
Within about half an hour you can get to Liskeard for the shops. The Eden Project is about forty minutes by car. Carnglaze Caverns are closer, maybe fifteen minutes. It's a former slate mine.
Inside, it's got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair in the cupboard if you need them. Parking is right outside.
No pets, I'm afraid. And we don't do smoking inside.
