Trekeive Cottage
Trekeive Cottage is on Common Moor, Cornwall. It's attached to our house, but it's private. You get the whole place to yourselves. It looks out over fields and Sibly Back Dam.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable.
The stairs are a bit narrow and steep, as you'd expect. The garden is out the back and is enclosed. There's parking on the drive.
There's a footpath from the grounds that goes down to the lake. You can fish there, or just walk around it. The moorland is right there for walking.
Looe and its beach are about eight miles away. Bodmin Moor is on your doorstep. The National Trust has maps for walking there. The Cornwall National Landscape site is useful too.
St Cleer village is close by for basics. For a day out, the Carnglaze Caverns or Golitha Falls are worth a look. The Eden Project is about a 40-minute drive.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a TV, WiFi, a cot, and a stairgate for little ones if needed.
