Trezeal Barn
Trezeal Barn is in Bathpool, on the edge of Bodmin Moor. It's a single-storey barn conversion next to our house. You'll get your own patio and garden area. The views from the sun room are over fields, quite open.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and modern. Everything's on the ground floor. The second bedroom has one single bed and another single bed up a short ladder in the eaves. It's a bit of a fun spot for kids or an agile adult.
There's underfloor heating, a dishwasher, and WiFi. The kitchen has slate worktops. We keep hens, so you'll usually get some fresh eggs. The place is wheelchair accessible to get in, but the shower room is a walk-in shower, not a wet room.
You can walk straight out onto quiet lanes. Sharp Tor is close for good views. For a pint, the nearest proper pub is about a mile and a half's walk across the fields. There are a few others within a short drive.
You're right on the moor. The Hurlers stone circle and the Cheesewring are up at Minions, about a ten-minute drive. Both coasts are within half an hour. The north coast around Polzeath or Tintagel is about 25 minutes. The south coast, like Looe, is about the same.
