Rosecraddoc Manor - Lakeview
This is Lakeview at Rosecraddoc Manor. It's a detached place that sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped, not overly luxurious.
The main thing about Lakeview is the view. You're about 75 yards from the main manor house, looking right out over the fishing lake. The living room is upstairs to make the most of it, and there's a large balcony. You can sit out there with a drink and just watch the water. It's very peaceful.
The whole estate is 35 acres. There are gardens and bluebell woods with footpaths. You can walk around without seeing anyone else. The lake is stocked for coarse fishing if that's your thing. There's also an all-weather tennis court you can use.
The stairs inside are fine. Access to the front door of the main manor house, which you might use for something, is by three stone steps. Just so you know.
You're on Bodmin Moor here. It's quiet. The nearest shop and pub are about a mile and a half away in the village. A few more pubs are dotted around locally.
For days out, Looe is about eight miles. It's a proper little fishing port with beaches. Plymouth is around 20 miles if you want city things, shopping or the Historic Dockyard. The Eden Project is also about 20 miles in the other direction.
In terms of what's here: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. We include bedding. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. The property is baby and toddler friendly, and we can take up to two dogs.
