Moderno

This is Moderno. It's one of four cottages here, converted from old barns. They're on Tregrill Farm, which is where I live. It's quiet, just outside Menheniot.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. It's open plan downstairs.

The barns are from 1824, so there are some original features. The stairs are a typical cottage spiral, so they're a bit tight.

You're not right on the coast, it's about a 15 minute drive. Looe and Polperro are the closest proper seaside spots. You can get a train from Liskeard, which is two miles away, straight into Looe. It's a nice trip.

If you want a big day out, Plymouth is half an hour away. The Eden Project is about 20 minutes. For a quieter beach, the Rame Peninsula is that way. Whitsand Bay is good for surf.

There's a games room in one of the other barns that everyone can use. The garden is enclosed. You can bring two dogs. There's parking right outside.
