Alyshan

This is Alyshan. It's a detached cottage in Merrymeet, Cornwall. It's in our garden, so we're next door if you need anything, but you've got your own private patio.

Sleeps two, one bedroom and a bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's old, from the 18th century. The ceilings are vaulted, the floorboards are exposed, and there's a decent sized picture window that looks out over a stream and the fields. The interior is open plan.

There's parking on the gravel area outside. The garden is yours to sit in. There's a BBQ too. Bedding's included, there's a TV, a washing machine, and we have a stairgate if you need one. We allow two pets.

It's a rural spot. No shop in the village, the nearest is about four miles away in Liskeard. They've got supermarkets and some independent shops there.

For getting out, you're well placed. Looe and Polperro are a short drive away, about 20 minutes. Whitsand Bay is similar. Good for coastal walks. Bodmin Moor starts a few miles up the road if you want high moorland walks. It's good dog walking country. The Eden Project is about half an hour's drive.

If you like National Trust places, Lanhydrock and Cotehele are both within a 30 minute drive. There's local fishing, a golf course nearby, and you can find horse riding stables too.
