New England is here in Menheniot, a small village inland from the coast. It's in a row of cottages converted from old farm barns. They're from the 1820s.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It has a 4 Star rating. The place is warm and done up well. It has a woodburner which makes it cosy in winter.
The kitchen is open plan. You get a dishwasher and washing machine. There's a TV and WiFi. The garden is enclosed, with a patio and a BBQ. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
The farm owner lives on site. There's a games room on the farm that guests here can use.
You can walk straight into the countryside from the gate. The local shop and pub are half a mile away. They're fine.
For the coast, Looe and Polperro are about a 20-minute drive. They're classic Cornish fishing villages. The South West Coast Path is there too.
Within half an hour you can get to quite a lot. The Eden Project is close. Plymouth has the aquarium and the Barbican. Cotehele and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are near.
If you go a bit further west, the Rame Peninsula has quiet beaches like Whitsand Bay. For something active, Siblyback Lake is five miles for water sports. Adrenalin Quarry is less than a mile up the road.
The train station at Liskeard is two miles away. You can get a scenic train from there down to Looe.
