Pineview Cottage is in Hessenford. It's a small village inland, about a ten minute drive from the coast. The cottage itself is terraced.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom, with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star grading. It's comfortable and has everything you need. The stairs are quite steep, like a lot of old cottages.
You can bring up to two dogs. That's one of the main reasons people book it. There's a small enclosed courtyard garden out the back with a table and chairs. There's no back door, you get to it through the front.
In the village, there's a local pub a short walk away. They serve food. For the beach, Seaton is the closest, about two miles. It's a big grey sand beach and it's dog friendly all year. You can walk from there along the valley or to Downderry when the tide's out.
Looe is about five miles away. It's a proper fishing port with a harbour and lots of places to eat. Polperro is a similar distance the other way. For a longer day out, the Rame Peninsula and Whitsand Bay are within half an hour. So is the Eden Project.
The cottage has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car on the gravel drive at the front. Bedding and towels are included. There's a stairgate at the bottom of the stairs.
