Tamarind
Tamarind is in Downderry, on the south coast of Cornwall. It's a detached house that sleeps ten people quite comfortably. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and in good order.
The main thing here is the view. It looks right out over Whitsand Bay and the sea. You get terraces on three different levels to sit out on. The garden is landscaped and enclosed, if you've got dogs or kids.
Inside, the kitchen is modern and has everything you'd need to cook for a crowd. It's open plan. The bedrooms are on the lower ground floor. Three of them have doors straight out onto one of the terraces, which is nice in the morning.
Something to be aware of: the stairs are steep in places. They're also a bit narrow. Just mind your step.
Downderry itself is a small village right on the coast. You can walk down to the beach. There's a local pub. For bigger shops, you'd want to go to Looe or Torpoint, which are about a fifteen minute drive.
From here, you're well placed for the Rame Head area and the wider south coast. The National Trust looks after Whitsand Bay and there's good walking on the coastal path. Plymouth is about half an hour away by car if you need a city or the ferry to Devon.
In terms of what's here: dishwasher, washing machine, TV, wifi, parking for a couple of cars on the drive. No pets allowed, sorry.
