Lavender Hill House
Lavender Hill House is in Downderry, Cornwall. It's a big, detached house fairly high up in the village, so you get the view across Whitsand Bay. It sleeps eight.
There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, which helps a lot with that many people. The master bedroom has a super-king bed and that bay view. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well-finished and has everything you'd expect.
The living area is open plan. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The patio is enclosed, which is good if you've got kids or dogs. You can sit out there and look at the sea. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for two cars on the drive.
You can take up to two dogs. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
Downderry itself is quiet. There's a local pub and the beach is a short walk downhill. It's a mix of sand and pebble. For a longer, sandy beach, Whitsand Bay is about a ten minute drive.
You're well-placed for exploring. The Rame Peninsula is right here, which is a bit of an overlooked bit of Cornwall. The coast path is on your doorstep. Plymouth is about half an hour's drive over the Tamar Bridge. Looe and Polperro are also within a 30 minute drive.
