Hawks Ridge
This place is called Hawks Ridge. It's in Downderry, Cornwall, on a hill above the beach. It's a detached house, so no neighbours through the walls. You can see the sea from most of the windows.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bathroom is an en-suite to the main bedroom. We got it refurbished properly a few years ago. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable.
The living area is open plan. There's an enclosed garden and a balcony off the living room. The balcony faces the sea, which is good for an evening. The garden is south-facing.
Downderry beach is dog-friendly and less than a mile away, mostly downhill. You can walk it. There's a pub and a restaurant in the village. They're both fine.
For days out, Looe is about a 15 minute drive. Polperro is a bit further, maybe 20 minutes. The Rame Head area and Mount Edgcumbe are within half an hour if you fancy a walk with a view. Plymouth is also about 30 minutes away.
What's here: there's a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and parking for two cars. Bedding and towels are included. We allow one dog.
