Hawks Ridge is in Downderry, just up the hill from the village. It's detached so you've got your own space all around.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. Two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. There's parking on site.
The main thing is the view. You can see the sea from most rooms. It looks right over Downderry beach. There's a balcony too, which is a good spot in the evening.
It got refurbished a few years back so everything works and it's clean. The living area is open plan. Some seaside decorations around, including these two wooden rabbits on one of the bedroom walls.
The garden is enclosed with a patio. It's solid, not massive, but it gets the sun.
Downderry beach is less than a mile down the hill. It's dog friendly. The village has a pub and a shop. You can probably walk to the pub from the house, but it's a steep walk back.
You're on the south coast of Cornwall here. Looe is about a ten minute drive west. Further along, you've got Polperro. Going the other way, towards Plymouth, you pass through Whitsand Bay. The South West Coast Path runs right through.
For a bigger day out, the Eden Project is roughly half an hour's drive. National Trust Cornwall has a lot of places nearby like Antony and Cotehele.
Inside, you've got the usual things: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
