This is 3 The Coastguards in Downderry. It's a terraced cottage, part of the old coastguard buildings. It faces south, directly at the sea. The garden overlooks the beach.
It sleeps five in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which is about right. It's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. The living room is cosy, with a picture window so you can see the sea. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings.
The garden is a proper sun trap because of the aspect. You just step out of the garden gate and you're on the beach path. The shop and the pub are about a five minute walk up the road. Both are good.
For other beaches, Seaton and Looe are a short drive away. Looe has the fishing and the estuary. Polperro is about twenty minutes by car. Further along, the Rame Peninsula is worth exploring if you like walking and quiet coves. There's a golf course nearby and fishing is popular here.
Inside, it's got what you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking for one car on site. Bed linen is included. Sorry, no pets.
If you're planning trips, the Cornwall Council Countryside site has good local walking information.
