This is the Byre in Looe. It's a stone barn conversion, part of a small group of them on our land. It's for two people.
It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-kept. One bedroom and one bathroom, all on the ground floor. You can bring two dogs if you want. There's a patio area with a table that gets the sun.
The South West Coast Path is literally a minute's walk from the gate. Turn left and you're on the path to Millendreath beach in a few minutes. There's a café on the sand there. Turn right on the path and you can walk into Looe itself. It’s about a mile and a half along the coast. The harbour's busy and the beach is sandy. The town has all the usual shops and places to eat.
If you drive, Polperro is close. The Monkey Sanctuary is nearby if that's your thing. For a bigger day out, the Eden Project is about half an hour away. So are the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Plymouth is also within half an hour if you need a city.
Facilities wise: there's parking for your car right outside. The kitchen has a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a TV and wifi. There's a shared play area for children on the site.
