Talland House is in Polperro, right up near the harbour. You can walk to the water in about a minute.
It's a cottage that sleeps six. There are three bedrooms. The handy thing is they all have their own shower room, so nobody's queuing. There's a bathroom downstairs too, with a tub.
The courtyard is a good spot. It's got a table and chairs. It's above the little river that runs through the village, so you can sit and watch that go by.
Inside, there's a living room with a wood burner for colder nights. The kitchen has what you'll need: oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine. The stairs to the top floor are under the eaves, so they're a bit steeper and the ceiling is lower up there.
You can bring one dog. There's a highchair and a cot if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.
There's a pub, a restaurant, and a shop about 50 yards away. Getting a parking space is the main thing here. You get one, but it's up the hill, about a ten minute walk from the house. You unload at the door, then take the car up.
For walking, you're on the South West Coast Path. The National Trust has a lot of spots nearby, like Lanhydrock or Polperro's own heritage centre. Fowey is about a 15 minute drive along the coast. You can get the ferry over to Polruan from there.
If you're coming with more people, you can book the cottage next door as well.
