The Shippen
The Shippen is one of the cottages at Cartole, near Trenewan. It's a former stable, converted into a holiday let. The grounds are big and open, which is good if you've got children with you.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The cottage is about five miles from Looe. Polperro is a bit closer. You can walk to a pub and restaurant in about twenty minutes, maybe half an hour. There's a shop a bit further on.
If you want to explore, you're well placed. The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are both within half an hour's drive. For a day at the coast, Fowey is about nine miles and Looe is five. The area is popular with film crews, for things like Poldark.
On site, we've put in a kids' play area. There's parking. We can provide a highchair and a stairgate if you need them. The cottage is decorated for Christmas if you book over that period.
