Cider Press Cottage is in Fowey, on the side of a hill up from the main part of town. It's a Victorian terrace cottage, and it sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The name comes from the old press that's still in the front garden.
It's got a 4 Star rating. The shower is over the bath. There's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on the drive for one car. We allow one well-behaved dog.
The stairs are steep and narrow, as they are in a lot of these cottages. We've put a stairgate at the bottom.
You can walk down into Fowey in about five minutes. It's a steep walk back up. The town has shops, pubs, and cafes. The river is lovely to look at. For a bigger beach, you'd drive. Polkerris or Par Sands are about ten minutes away by car.
If you like walking, the South West Coast Path runs right through the town. The walk out to Gribbin Head is very good. For a day out, the National Trust has lots of places nearby like Lanhydrock, which is about a twenty-minute drive.
There's a TV and WiFi. The garden is small but it's a sun trap in the afternoon. That's about it.
