Anchor Loft is a flat at the top of the town in Fowey. It's a maisonette, so it's spread over two floors. The main thing is the view. You get a proper look out over the river from the balcony and the living room.
It sleeps six, in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well kept. You can bring one dog.
Being up here means you miss the worst of the traffic in the town centre. It's about a ten minute walk down to Readymoney beach, or twenty minutes to the main town shops. The walk back up is steep. There's a town bus that runs if you don't fancy it.
You get a parking space in a shared garage, which is a real bonus in Fowey. Outside, there's a balcony off the living room and two decked patio areas, all sheltered. They're good spots to sit out.
The house has the things you'd expect: wifi, TV, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
For things to do, the town has pubs, shops, and you can watch the boats on the river. The South West Coast Path runs right through. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline here. For wider planning, Visit Cornwall is useful. The Eden Project is about a twenty minute drive inland.
