Harbourside
Right, Harbourside is the house in Bodinnick. It's the one you can see across the river from Fowey. Three floors, detached. Got parking for two cars, which you'll need.
It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a Four Star, so it's got everything you'd expect. It's comfortable.
The main thing is the view. It faces south-west over the river, so you get the sun most of the day. There's a patio and a bit of garden. The sun terrace is a good spot.
It's a short walk down to Penmarlam Quay. That's got a slipway and a boat park, and a cafe. So if you've got a boat, it's very straightforward. Or if you just want to watch the boats.
The house has the usual. Washing machine, dishwasher, wifi. Woodburner for cooler evenings. Bedding and towels are there.
Bodinnick itself is quiet. There's a ferry across to Fowey that runs all day. It takes a few minutes. Fowey has the shops and restaurants. The National Trust has land around there for walking. If you fish, you can do that.
Within about half an hour you've got lots of the coast. Polperro, Polruan, places like that. The South West Coast Path is right there. For a bigger day out, you can drive to the Eden Project, or Lost Gardens of Heligan. Plymouth is about 45 minutes.
