Harbourside is in Bodinnick. It's a tall, detached house set back from the lane, so you get a full view of the river across to Fowey. That's the main thing. The view is very good.
It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. The rating is 4 Star, which is accurate. It's well kept and comfortable. It's on three floors, so there are a fair few stairs. That's just how it's built.
You've got parking for two cars on the gravel. The garden is at the back, mostly lawn with a patio area. It catches the sun in the afternoon. There's also a sun terrace off the first floor, which gets the morning light.
Down at the bottom of the hill is Penmarlam Quay. It's a five minute walk. They have a small cafe, a slipway, and a boat park there if you're bringing a dinghy or kayak. The Bodinnick Ferry, which is the car ferry over to Fowey, leaves from there too.
In terms of facilities, it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a wood burner if you want it. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, I'm afraid.
Bodinnick itself is quiet. There's a local pub, the Old Ferry Inn. Fowey is just across the river, a minute on the ferry or a fifteen minute drive around via the bridge. From Fowey, you can get boat trips or walk the South West Coast Path. The Eden Project is about a twenty minute drive inland.
For planning, these sites are useful: National Trust Cornwall and South West Coast Path Association.
