Watercolour Cottage
Watercolour Cottage is in Lerryn, which is a small village up the river from Fowey. It's a terrace cottage, painted white, right on the quiet main street.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which is fair. It's clean and comfortable, but not high spec. The ceiling in the main bedroom is quite low in one corner, so mind your head.
You can bring one dog. There's a small, enclosed yard out the back.
The main thing about Lerryn is the river. There's a good circular walk from the cottage, along the riverbank and through the woods. You can hire canoes from the shop by the bridge. The local pub, the Lerryn Inn, is about a two minute walk away.
Fowey is about a fifteen minute drive. It's a proper working harbour with shops and places to eat. You can get the passenger ferry across to Polruan. The Lanhydrock estate is about half an hour's drive for a day out. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a similar distance.
The cottage has a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. There's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a cot is available. Bedding is included. Parking is on the street outside, which is usually fine.
