Caro's Cottage
Caro's Cottage is one part of a larger group called Cartole Cottages, near Looe in Cornwall. It's a converted barn or stable, along with a few others set in a field. There's space for kids to run about and some play equipment.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has what you need. You can bring up to two dogs.
The cottage itself has a garden or patio for you. Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. They've got a highchair and a stairgate if you're bringing little ones. The entrance is wheelchair accessible and there's parking right there.
You're a bit inland here, about four and a half miles from the coast. The closest shop is over a mile away, and there's a pub and restaurant about a mile's walk. For beaches and proper seaside, you'll want to drive to Polperro or Looe.
It's a good spot for getting out and about. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are under half an hour away. So is the fishing port of Fowey. For a longer trip, you can get down to the Lizard peninsula or over onto Dartmoor in about an hour.
