Caro's Cottage
Caro's Cottage is over in Trenewan, in Cornwall. It's part of a group of converted barns and stables that have been here a few hundred years. The grounds are big, so there's plenty of space to run around.
The cottage itself sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. Because of the age and shape of the buildings, everything is accessible for wheelchairs on the ground floor, like the entrance, but the rest of the place is on multiple levels. It's a cottage, so there are steps and different floor levels inside.
The beach is about four and a half miles away, which is a short drive. There's a pub serving food a mile down the road. A shop is about a mile and a quarter away.
It's a good base for this bit of Cornwall. Looe and Polperro are a short drive. Fowey is nearby. Within a half hour drive you've got places like The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, and Lanhydrock House.
Facilities-wise, it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding is included. There's on site parking and a private patio. We take up to two dogs. There's a highchair and stairgate here if you need them, and there’s a kids' play area in the shared grounds.
