Watch House
This is the Watch House in Fowey. It's an apartment, not a cottage, but it's in a good spot. It's modern and comfortable, right by the slipway at Caffa Mill.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, so that's useful. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well looked after. The main living area is upstairs. That's because you get the best view from there. You can sit and watch the boats on the estuary.
It's about a ten minute walk along the water into Fowey town centre. Everything's there: shops, places to eat, cafes. You don't really need the car.
For facilities, it's got what you'd expect: dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Parking is on site. All the bedding and towels are included.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust Cornwall page is good for ideas. The South West Coast Path runs right through here. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are about 20 minutes' drive away, and the Eden Project is maybe half an hour.
