Stable End
Stable End is one of three cottages here at Peregrine Hall, just outside Lostwithiel. It's a conversion from an old stable block on the grounds. We've got about nine acres of gardens and woodland you can wander. It's quiet up here on the hill.
The place sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not huge. Everything you need is there. It's open plan downstairs.
There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, and a patio area with a barbecue. The swimming pool is shared between the three cottages. Parking is right outside.
You're welcome to bring one dog. We provide bedding. There's a cot and highchair if you need them, and a washing machine.
Lostwithiel town is a short walk down the hill, maybe ten minutes. There's a good pub and a restaurant about a quarter of a mile away. The town has some nice antique shops and cafes. The river runs through it, with a little beach and some good walks along the bank.
For days out, you're well placed. The Lanhydrock Estate is close by, which has the house, gardens, and lots of walking and cycling trails. The Eden Project is about a 25-minute drive. Fowey is roughly 20 minutes by car, a proper harbour town. The north coast, like Padstow, is within half an hour or so.
