Treganoon Round Barn is in Luxulyan, which is a small village near Bodmin. It's a round barn that's been converted into a house. We kept as much of the original feel as we could.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy with that many people. It's got a 4 Star rating. The master bedroom and the main living room are partly round, which is unusual. There are some low beams and odd corners, which you'd expect. It feels like a barn, not a normal house.
The garden is enclosed, so it's secure. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's parking right outside.
Inside, it's got what you'd need: WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you're bringing a little one.
The location is quiet. It's a hamlet, so don't expect a shop on the corner. You'll need a car. Bodmin Moor is about a 20-minute drive. It's good walking country, very rugged. The National Trust in Cornwall has lots of nearby places if you want ideas.
The coast is about six miles away. You can get to the Eden Project in under half an hour. Charlestown harbour and Fowey are also within a 30-minute drive. If you want to go further, places like Newquay or Plymouth are about 45 minutes to an hour away.
That's about it. It's a solid, characterful place in a quiet spot.
