Right, Flat 18, Pochin House. It's in St Austell, on the edge of town. It's a first-floor flat in a modern block. You get a private parking space right outside.
The flat sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. One has twin beds, the other is a king with an en-suite shower room. There's a main bathroom too, with a bath. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's modern, clean and comfortable. Not posh, but everything works.
The living room has three sofas, which is a lot, so you won't be fighting for space. The kitchen is good. Big windows with a decent view, plenty of worktop, and a separate utility room with the washing machine. It's got a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included.
You can bring two dogs. There's an old mining chimney still standing in the grounds, which is a bit of a local landmark.
St Austell itself has shops and places to eat. The main draw is the location. The Eden Project is about a ten-minute drive away. Carlyon Bay and Par Sands are a short drive for the beach. Charlestown, with its old tall ships, is close. It's got a few pubs and the Shipwreck Museum. Fowey is about twenty minutes along the coast.
If you're walking, the south coast path is easily accessible. For a bigger day out, the National Trust has several properties nearby, like Lanhydrock, which is about half an hour's drive.
That's about it. It's a good base for seeing that part of Cornwall.
