Bridge Cottage
Bridge Cottage is in Hornick, near St Austell. It's down a lane by a small river, just before a little stone bridge. The cottage is sort of pebble-dashed and it's detached, so you won't be sharing walls.
It sleeps seven people in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. We allow up to two dogs.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have dogs or kids. It's got a patio with a table. The back looks onto fields. Inside, there's a wood burning stove. It works and we leave some wood for you.
You're a couple of minutes' drive from the beach at Porthpean. It's sandy with cliffs behind it. The village shop is about a mile away, and there's a pub that does food half a mile down the road.
The big attractions are close. The Eden Project is about ten minutes by car. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are about the same. Charlestown Harbour is nearer St Austell. It's a proper old port with tall ships, they use it for filming.
If you want to go further, places like Fowey, Mevagissey, and Truro are all within half an hour's drive. The coast path is easily accessible for walks.
In terms of what's there: parking for two cars, WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
