The Steps
The Steps is a one-bedroom flat above The Ship Inn in Pentewan. It sleeps two. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean, comfortable and practical.
You get to it by its own set of stone steps outside. The living area is open plan. There's a kitchen corner with the basics for making meals. The bedroom has a double bed and there's a bathroom with a bath and shower.
Being above a pub means you might hear some background noise from the business downstairs during the day. It's generally quiet at night. The stairs are proper Cornish stone steps, quite steep, so just take care.
Pentewan beach is about two minutes' walk away. It's a long, sandy beach. The Pentewan Valley Trail starts there, which is a nice, flat walk or cycle path. Mevagissey, the fishing village, is just over two miles away for crabbing and pasties. Charlestown, with its tall ships, is about the same distance the other way. St Austell is a short drive for bigger shops.
Facilities include a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and parking for one car. Bedding and towels are provided. There's no garden.
