The Gallery
The Gallery is near Mevagissey. It's a detached bungalow next to our house, but you've got your own access and it's completely private. There's a garden for you just over the fence from ours, which is part of a bigger three-quarter acre plot.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. It's all on one level, so no stairs at all.
The main thing is the view. You look right out over the bay. The sunrises from the front are very good. The coastal path runs close by the property. You can walk east into Mevagissey in about 20 minutes, or west to Gorran Haven.
Mevagissey is a proper working fishing harbour. You can get sea fishing trips from there, or the ferry over to Fowey. The local pub is a ten minute walk. The shop is about half a mile.
For days out, The Lost Gardens of Heligan are very close. The Eden Project is about a 25 minute drive. Truro is half an hour away for bigger shops. There's sailing, golf, and you can hire kayaks or paddle boards locally.
Facilities: it's got a woodburner, a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking and an electric vehicle charger. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
