Seatons Rest
This is Seatons Rest. It's just outside Mevagissey in Cornwall. You're right by Portmellon Cove, basically a matter of yards from the beach. It's on a quiet lane.
The place sleeps four in two bedrooms. One is a large double, the other has twin beds. There's one bathroom which is a wet room style shower. Everything is on two floors, with the living room and kitchen open plan downstairs. It's got a wood burner, which is nice in the evenings, and underfloor heating. It's all modern inside, clean and comfortable. It's got a five star rating.
Outside there's a raised decking area and allocated parking for two cars. The path down to the cove is just there. The beach is mainly sand and shingle. There's a pub right on the beach that does food. The coastal path runs past it too.
Mevagissey is a proper old fishing harbour, about a five minute drive away. You've got shops, pasty shops, more pubs, and you can get boat trips from there. St Austell is a bit bigger, about ten minutes by car, with supermarkets and things.
You're well placed for the main things around here. The Eden Project is about twenty minutes' drive. The National Trust have a lot of coastal properties nearby like the Lost Gardens of Heligan. For the wider area, Visit Cornwall has good information.
On facilities, it's got all the basics. WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance, but it's over two floors inside so the bedrooms are upstairs. The driveway is gravel. You can bring up to two dogs. No garden as such, just the decking.
