Lowenna is one of four holiday apartments next to our house, just outside Mevagissey. It sleeps two, and has one bedroom with an en-suite shower.
The big thing here is the view. You're up the hill a bit, so you get a clear look straight over Mevagissey harbour and the bay. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. You've got your own parking space, which is useful as parking down in the village can be tricky.
There's a patio with a table and chairs so you can sit outside. The grounds are shared with the other apartments, with some flower beds and a fish pond.
It's about a mile's walk down into Mevagissey itself. It's a proper old fishing village, with a working harbour and narrow streets. There are pubs, shops, and places to eat down there. The coastal path runs from the village if you want a walk, either towards Portmellon or Pentewan.
If you're driving, The Lost Gardens of Heligan are about ten minutes away. The Eden Project is maybe twenty minutes. Charlestown harbour, with its tall ships, is also close by.
For facilities, you've got wifi, TV, and all your bedding and towels are included. There's a shower but no bath. The layout is all open plan.
