This is Sea Haven in Gorran Haven. It's a small cottage, set in a row of four. They were a couple of Victorian places originally, from the 1800's.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's well looked after and comfortable.
The main thing is you're very close to the beach. About a minute's walk. It's a sandy cove. From there you can get straight onto the South West Coast Path for walks. The cliffs are dramatic here.
The village shop is just up the road. There's a hotel bar called the Llawnroc a bit further on. The cottage has a woodburner for cooler evenings. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are in. We allow one well-behaved dog.
You can swim and kayak from the beach. For surfing, you'd probably drive to a bigger beach like Polstreath.
Mevagissey, which is a proper working fishing harbour, is about a ten minute drive. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a fifteen minute drive inland. The Eden Project is roughly half an hour away. Fowey and the tin mines are also within about a thirty minute drive.
