Puffin Burrow is in Portmellon, which is a cove just along from Mevagissey. It's a one bedroom cottage for two people. You can bring one dog.
It's a very old cottage, from the 18th century. The people who own it did it up nicely inside. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable.
The main thing is the location. It's right by the water. You can see the sea from the bedroom and the living room. There are two little outside areas, a patio and a lower terrace, both facing the cove. You can hear the waves.
It's on the South West Coast Path. You can walk into Mevagissey harbour one way, or along the coast the other. The path is just outside.
There's a pub about 50 yards away. In the summer there's a cafe and you can hire kayaks or paddleboards from the beach. The beach is sandy when the tide's out.
For a day out, the Lost Gardens of Heligan are very close. The Eden Project is about a 20 minute drive. You can drive to lots of other places along the coast from here.
Facilities wise: it's got a washing machine, WiFi, a travel cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. There's a shower, no bath.
