Grain Store 2
Grain Store 2 is one of a pair of barns we converted from an old grain mill. It's all on one floor. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, and each bedroom has its own bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well kitted out and comfortable.
The garden faces south so it gets the sun. There's a little covered day bed out there if you want a nap in the fresh air. It's very dark at night here, so you can see the stars really well.
You're in East Portholland on the Roseland. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The lane from the barns leads you down to Portholland Cove in about ten minutes. It's a quiet spot, good for a paddle.
There are a couple of dog-friendly pubs nearby, in St Ewe and Tregony. The beaches round here are lovely. For a proper sandy one, you'd drive to somewhere like Pendower, which is about ten minutes. Portscatho is close too, they've got a good cafe.
If you like gardens, you're in the right area. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are about a twenty minute drive. The Eden Project is roughly half an hour. Caerhays Castle gardens are nearby when they're open.
For facilities, you've got pretty much everything. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, parking right outside. There's an electric vehicle charger. We include all the bedding and towels. It's fine for two well-behaved dogs.
