This is Castle Cottage in Ruan Lanihorne. It's a detached cottage, so no neighbours through the wall. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got a dog or kids. You can park three cars on the gravel bit at the front.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The living room has a wood burner. The kitchen is a good size and has a stable door that opens onto the patio.
The cottage is down a quiet lane, past some fields. The Roseland estuary is about a two minute walk away. It's very quiet. You'll see a lot of birds.
The local pub is the King's Head. It's about a fifteen minute walk along the lane. They do food. For a shop, you'd need to drive to Tregony or St Mawes.
St Mawes is about a ten minute drive. It's got a castle, places to eat, and you can get the ferry over to Falmouth from there. Portscatho and Gerrans are other little fishing villages nearby, maybe a five or ten minute drive. All nice for a wander.
If you want a big beach, Pendower is about fifteen minutes by car. The South West Coast Path is easily accessible from here too.
Facilities: there's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a highchair if you need one. No pets, sorry.
