Apsley Cottage

Apsley Cottage is on the square in Portscatho. It's a Victorian terrace, so you're right in the middle of the village. You can walk to the shop, the butcher, and the beach in a couple of minutes.

It sleeps five. There's a king-size room, a twin room, and a single room. One bathroom, which has a shower over the bath. The stairs are fairly steep, which is normal for these old cottages.

Downstairs, there's a living room with an open fire. The kitchen is through the back, with a dining table and French doors that open out to the patio. The patio is private, it gets the sun in the afternoon, and there's a barbecue out there.

You can park one car on the gravel area right outside.

The beach is sandy and just down the hill. For a longer walk, you can pick up the South West Coast Path from the village. The Roseland Peninsula is good for walking. If you want to drive somewhere, St Mawes is about fifteen minutes away, and you can get the ferry over to Falmouth from there. Truro is roughly half an hour.

Useful links for planning: National Trust Cornwall and South West Coast Path.

We allow up to two well-behaved dogs. All the bedding and towels are included.
