Apsley Cottage is in Portscatho. It's a terraced cottage, Victorian I think, right by the village square. You can walk to everything from here.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and has what you need, but it's not posh. The bathroom is at the back of the house, shower over the bath. There's a washing machine in a little utility space next to it.
Downstairs, there's a living room with an open fire. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a microwave. The dining area has French doors that open onto the patio. The patio is private, gets the sun, and has a table and a barbecue.
Two of the bedrooms have a view of a bit of sea. One has a kingsize bed, another has a single, and the third room has twin beds.
You can have up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car right outside.
Portscatho itself is small. There's a village shop, a post office, and a place for ice cream. The beach is a short walk. For a bigger beach, you'd drive to Towan or Porthcurnick. The South West Coast Path runs right past the village.
St Mawes is about ten minutes by car, with the ferry over to Falmouth. Truro is maybe half an hour for bigger shops. The National Trust has a few places nearby, like Trelissick Garden.
