It's called Summers View. It's in St Mawes, up the hill from the harbour. It's a bungalow. You can walk into the village centre in about ten minutes, which is good because parking down there can be tricky.
It sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms. One has a super king bed and its own bathroom. Another has a king bed with a shower room. The other two are twins. There's a third bathroom with a bath and a separate shower. So, three bathrooms in total.
The main thing is the space. The living room, the conservatory, and the main bedroom all have a proper view out over the water. The garden is decent sized, with a lawn for kids and a big patio. It gets the sun.
Inside, there's a large hallway area with a small pool table and a TV. The main living room has a big TV and an open fire. The kitchen has an island in the middle. The conservatory is where you eat, and it leads straight out to the patio.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well equipped. It has WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and parking for a couple of cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs.
St Mawes itself is lovely. There are a couple of nice pubs, places for coffee, and the castle. You can get the ferry over to Falmouth, which is a good day out. The whole Roseland Peninsula is part of the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The coastal path is right there for walking.
For things a bit further out, within about half an hour's drive, you've got the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project, and Truro for shopping. National Trust Cornwall has a list of their properties nearby, like Trelissick Garden.
