Lavausa
Lavausa is in St Mawes. It's on one of those quiet roads just up from the harbour, about a five minute walk to the shops. The main thing is it has parking for three cars, which is a proper bonus for here.
It's a house for eight people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. Two bedrooms are downstairs, both with their own shower room. One has a big window with a good view. Upstairs, the living room, kitchen and dining are all one space. That's so you can sit out on the balcony. The view from there is across the water towards St Anthony's Head.
The stairs are fine. The garden is a decent size, mostly lawn with a patio area for sitting out. It's got a side entrance with a covered bit for bikes or wetsuits, and a tap to rinse sandy feet.
Inside, it's got the things you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
St Mawes itself has a small supermarket, a couple of pubs, a good chippy, and some nice places for coffee or ice cream. The ferry over to Falmouth runs from the harbour. If you want to walk, you can pick up the coast path right there. The National Trust at St Anthony's Head is about a ten minute drive, or a decent walk.
Within half an hour you can drive to the likes of Veryan, Portscatho, or over to the Falmouth side. The Trelissick gardens are about twenty five minutes away, if that's your sort of thing.
