Chapel House East is in St Mawes. It's set back a bit from the road so it's quiet, but you're right in the middle of the village. No steep hills to worry about.
It sleeps four. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. The layout is upside down, so the main living area is upstairs to get the view. It's a good view. You can see the river, the harbour, and the sea.
There are two terraces. One at the front gets the morning sun, good for a coffee. The one off the kitchen is decked and gets the afternoon and evening sun. There's a table, chairs, and a BBQ out there.
The living room is big and bright with patio doors to a balcony. You can sit out there and watch the boats. It's got storage heaters and an electric fire for the cooler months.
You're five minutes walk from where the foot ferry goes over to Falmouth. There are two beaches very close by, just a short walk. They're safe and easy to get to.
For facilities, it's got what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets.
St Mawes is good for just mooching about. The coastal path is right there. For planning days out, the National Trust for Cornwall site is useful, and so is Visit Cornwall.
